Tips for exploring the schedule!

You can click “categories” and “tags” along the top to filter the schedule to see only the events you’re looking for.

Categories include large schedule components, like Education and Expo.  Tags will allow you to sort education by ability levels: basic, mid-level and advanced.

Along the top on the right, you’ll see a print button, the ability to collapse or expand all event descriptions, and the ability to switch the view from agenda view (which displays events in a list) to day or week view (which displays events on a calendar grid).

When you click an event, you’ll also have the ability to save it to your calendar on your computer or mobile device.

Expo Pod 2: Enclosed Belt Conveyor Installation and Operation @ Convention Center - Expo Hall
Mar 11 @ 10:30 am – 11:15 am

Grain facilities continue to increase how fast they handle product, from truck receiving to rail and barge loadout. Enclosed belt conveyors help control dust emissions and spillage, reload product back onto the belt, and are an industry standard.

This session identifies installation considerations necessary to successfully operate this specialized equipment. Learn about required clearances around equipment, proper belt loading and tensions, and access for maintenance. Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of enclosed belt conveyors and how to gain the best possible performance.

Presented by:

Mike Spillum, Sales and Marketing Manager, Hi Roller Conveyors

Expo Pod 4: Pipe Conveyor Technology and Safety @ Convention Center - Expo Hall
Mar 11 @ 10:30 am – 11:15 am

What underutilized and environmentally friendly equipment can move bulk materials in a variety of applications over long distances, minimize clean-up tasks, and keep employees safe? Pipe conveyors completely enclose the material being conveyed, which keeps personnel safe while performing conveyor inspections during normal operations.

This presentation covers pipe conveyor technology including design, capabilities, and benefits. Attendees will learn how the pipe conveyor can negotiate different terrains and avoid obstacles by using both horizontal and vertical curves.

Expo Pod 3: Conveyor and Elevator Belting Best Practices @ Convention Center - Expo Hall
Mar 12 @ 10:30 am – 11:15 am

What do you need to know to keep your facility up and running at its peak performance? Conveyors and bucket elevators are the workhorse of many grain facilities. Even though they have been around for a long time, there are many commonly held beliefs that are being dispelled. An issue with a conveyor or bucket elevator can cause shut downs and costly delays.

This session provides insights and useful tools for keeping conveyors and elevators running their best.
